Maltin lined up for award

Film critic receives journalism kudo

Film critic Leonard Maltin has been tapped for the Caucus of Television Producers, Writers and Directors' journalism award.

Maltin currently serves as a commentator on "Entertainment Tonight," and on his own skeins "Hot Ticket" and "Secret's Out." He also teaches at the USC film school.

Writing credits include "Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide" and "The Great American Broadcast."

Award will be presented to Maltin at the 25th Annual Caucus Dinner and Awards on Dec. 7 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Past award winners include Larry King and Variety's Army Archerd, Cynthia Littleton and Brian Lowry.
