The tentatively titled "Eyes on Target" comes from Reveille and indie production company Cabana 9.
Series will follow military specialists as they conduct missions across the globe, such as ambushing poachers, setting up surveillance against organized crime figures or rescuing aid workers in war zones.
Cabana 9 brings an intimate knowledge of the world of high-stakes military ops to the production; the shingle's Bob Barr was an operative in the British SAS, while fellow partner Bobby Williams was a Green Beret.
"Eyes on Target" will show "the best private military operators in the world, using the most advanced equipment conducting real missions," Cabana 9 partner Al Edgington said. "Audiences will see how a special forces team conducts operations from start to finish."
Series reps the latest entry in Reveille's growing cable biz, which also includes Bravo's "Shear Genius," FX's "30 Days" and the new Laila Ali-hosted skein "Student Body" for the N. It's also a busy midseason for Reveille, which has upcoming shows "American Gladiators" and "My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad," among others, in the works.
Reveille's Howard Owens and Mark Koops will exec produce "Eyes on Target," along with Cabana 9's Edgington, Barr, Williams and Julian Grimmond. Dirk Hoogstra is also an exec producer.
