Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Inglewood Mortuary, 1206 Centinela Avenue in Inglewood.
During the 1990s, Henderson was director of late-night programming at ABC and before that at CBS, where she helped to introduce Rick Dees and Pat Sajak to the late-night variety format.
Originally from Natchez, Mississippi, Henderson previously was a producer on the Emmy-winning game show, "$25,000 Pyramid." Prior to that, she worked in NBC's Business Affairs division, and in Daytime Programming divisions at both NBC and ABC.
Her first industry job was as a production assistant on the 1974 feature "The Klansman" starring Richard Burton and O.J. Simpson.
Most recently, Henderson had returned to her Natchez roots and had owned and run a popular bed-and-breakfast inn there known as Mary Magnolia's.
