A memorial service will be held Dec. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wayfarers Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes.
Born in Albany, N.Y., Lee she moved to Los Angeles and worked as an assistant to Mama Cass Elliot in 1969 and the early 1970s. She also attended fashion design school in London in the early 1970s.
After returning from London she moved to New York, where she began her career in film and television. Starting as a production secretary for "The Greek Tycoon" in 1978, she went on to work as a location manager for "Prizzi's Honor," "Kojak" and "Izzy & Moe."
She served as unit production manager on films including "Great Expectations," "Sudden Death," "Mad Dog and Glory" and "Cape Fear." Lee was a member of the Directors Guild of America.
She is survived by her father and a sister.
