On Tuesday, Haddad unveiled creation of Haddad Media, which will "concentrate on working with established and emerging companies to develop innovative on-air, online and event programming for political and entertainment media," the announcement said.
Two established companies have already signed on, Newsweek and the National Journal Group. "I think this (2008) election is as wide open for cross platform media plays as it is for the candidates themselves," Haddad told Daily Variety. "The thirst for political information is as unlimited as the Internet itself."
Haddad spent the past four years heading up political coverage for MSNBC in D.C. She has also been exec producer of "Hardball With Chris Matthews" and has overseen a series of television specials and documentaries.
