After seven season on "Saturday Night Live" (and three as "Weekend Update" co-anchor), Poehler has established herself as one of the show's central voices.

She's also following a trail blazed by past "SNL" ers by expanding into movies. Last spring, she skated onto the bigscreen with a meaty role in Will Ferrell's "Blades of Glory," then followed up with a vocal turn in "Shrek the Third." In March, she toplines the coed comedy "Spring Breakdown," and in April she'll reunite with Tina Fey for "Baby Mama." She's also putting on a producer's hat, mounting the Nick animated skein "Mighty B."

Point of view

Having grown comfortable in her role on "SNL," Poehler thinks she's found a way to ensure long-term showbiz success. "I want to make enough money to freeze my brain so I can live forever," she explains. "If I get my brain frozen, I'll be able to do anything I want."
