Lucas will play a single father whose recently transplanted heart leads him on a frantic search to find the donor's killer before a similar fate befalls him.
Michael Cuesta, who has helmed episodes of Showtime's grisly "Dexter" skein in addition to several features, will helm the project (Daily Variety, Oct. 31).
"Tell-Tale" is being produced by Scott Free's Ridley Scott, Tony Scott and Michael Costigan, as well as Social Capital Films' Martin Shore and Christopher Tuffin. Gordon Steel and John Baca of the Steel Co. are exec producing along with Dave Callaham, Matthew Chausse and Scott Free's Malcolm Reeve and Michael Ellenberg.
Hyde Park is handling international rights and has already closed sales for a number of territories in Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Among them: South Korea, Portugal, Greece, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico. Deals are pending for several additional major territories.
Lucas recently wrapped production on "Death in Love" and "Boy in the Box," the latter of which also was produced through his new shingle, Two Bridges.
