The Stockholm Film Festival has announced a new award for music, which will go to the composer of the original score of a film in the competition.
Howard Shore, who will be at the fest to conduct a performance of his score for David Cronenberg’s “Eastern Promises,” will hand out the award at a ceremony on Nov. 24. Fest kicks off Nov. 15.
