Rialto aims at 'Sniper,' 'Assassins'

Rialto acquired Australia and New Zealand rights to a pair of still in the works movies from Hong Kong's Media Asia. Company signed on for Dante Lam-helmed ``Sniper'' and to Soi Cheang's ``Assassins.''

Media Asia also sold ``Sniper'' to United King for Israel, Blitz for the ex-Yugoslavia region and to Horizon Intl. for Turkey. Pic was widely sold within Asia before the AFM.
