Summit, Tele-Muenchen strike deal

International co. sells German, Austrian TV rights

Summit Intl. and Tele-Muenchen Group have inked a three year output deal, for all rights in Germany and Austria, in addition to TV rights in German-speaking Switzerland.

Pact, which runs through 2010, begins with "Twilight" and "Sex Drive." It covers pics produced, co-produced and or acquired by Summit, excluding only agency films. Concorde, TMG's wholly owned affiliate, will handle theatrical and video distribution of the output films as well as "In the Valley of Elah" and "Get Some," both acquired separately prior to the deal. Tele Muenchen will handle pay and free TV rights.
