"Over Her Dead Body" stars Eva Longoria Parker, Paul Rudd, Lake Bell, Lindsay Sloane, Stephen Root and Jason Biggs. Jeff Lowell ("John Tucker Must Die") penned the script and makes his directorial debut. New Line has set a Feb. 1 release.
Story centers on a female psychic who falls in love with a skeptic while the ghost of his dead fiancee tries to keep them apart.
Pic's produced by Gold Circle's Paul Brooks and Peter Safran through his Safran Co. production banner; Gold Circle's Norm Waitt and Scott Niemeyer are exec producers.
"The New Daughter" stars Kevin Costner and Ivana Banquero ("Pan's Labyrinth") in the story of a single father who moves to a farm with his two kids after a painful divorce. When his daughter starts behaving ominously, he begins to suspect that the burial mound in a nearby field might have something to do with it. Pic's based on a story by John Connolly published in his 2005 short fiction collection "Nocturnes."
Lensing will start in early 2008, with Luiso Berdejo directing from a screenplay by John Travis.
Brooks will produce "The New Daughter," with Niemeyer and Waitt exec producing.
