Little Film sells 'Skin'
International markets pick up S. African drama

Film stars Sophie Okonedo, Sam Neill, Alice Krige, Tony Kgoroge and newcomer Ella Ramangwane and chronicles the true story of a black girl who was born to white parents.
Philippe Hellman's UGCPh picked up rights in France, while "Skin" sold to Nordisk in Scandinavia, Conquest Films in Brazil, Indies Entertainment in Benelux, Front Row in the Middle East and Spentzos Film S.A. in Greece. Degeto Film and the BBC have pre-bought free TV rights in Germany and the U.K., respectively.
Anthony Fabian helmed the film, which is a co-production between Elysian Films, Bard Entertainments and Moonlighting Films. Anthony Fabian, Genevieve Hofmeyr and Margaret Matheson produced.
Aramid Entertainment is co-financing "Skin" with the Industrial Development Corp. and the National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa together with Lip Sync Prods. in the U.K.
The Little Film Co. also handled worldwide sales on "Tsotsi," the 2006 Academy Award-wining film from South Africa.
