EU film funding makes Future bright

Co. receives $216, 000 for development

LONDON -- Future Films has received €150,000 ($216,500) in development funding from the European Union's Media Program for a slate of projects, including pics by helmers Michael Radford, Bille August and Steve Barron.

Radford is developing "Nursery," a psychological horror script by Chris Wooding. August is working on "Burden of Desire," a love triangle set in Canada. Barron is prepping "Quiver," a comedy about Cupid.
