Rodrigues begins her "TRL" gig on Dec. 1 after spending the last two years as a video jockey for MTV Australia. She becomes the first Australian to land a VJ slot on MTV in the U.S.
In addition to "TRL," Rodrigues will host "The Big Ten" and MTV specials such as "MTV's New Year's Eve." She wowed MTV execs when she served a brief stint as guest host on "TRL" two months ago.
