The Full Frame Documentary fest and the Virginia fest will each receive $75,000. Money will be funded over a three-year period, intended to aid in developing long-term projects.
The Los Angeles and the San Francisco festivals will each receive $50,000.
Chicago Children's, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) and the San Francisco Asian American fests each receive the next largest sum at $30,000 each.
Remaining funding will reach a diverse group of festivals spanning the country, including those in Miami; St. Louis; Austin, Texas; and Anchorage, Alaska.
