"October Road" misses its namesake by a month, instead receiving a one-night-only bow in its former Thursday 10 p.m. slot on Nov. 22.
That means "Road" will steer "Big Shots" off Thursday for the night. After that, skein motors to Mondays at 10 p.m. (as announced in May) starting Nov. 26 in the slot vacated by "The Bachelor," which will have handed out its final rose at that point.
Also on Nov. 26, the one-hour "Dancing With the Stars" finale will be followed at 9 p.m. by "Samantha Who?," which slides back half an hour into its new slot. At 9:30, ABC pushes out "Underbelly."
Meanwhile, as the net also promised last spring, "20/20" and "Men in Trees" will be swapping timeslots effective Nov. 2. That means "20/20" will return to its usual 10 p.m. spot, while "Trees" will climb down to 8 p.m.
"October Road," from ABC Studios and GroupM Entertainment, stars Bryan Greenberg as a successful novelist who returns to his hometown. Gary Fleder, Scott Rosenberg, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Peter Tortorici exec produce.
"Notes From the Underbelly" stars Jennifer Westfeldt and Peter Cambor as expectant parents. Stacy Traub, Barry Sonnenfeld, Kim Tannenbaum and Eric Tannenbaum exec produce for Warner Bros. TV.
