'Wii Sports' sweeps up six BAFTAs

'BioShock' crowned best game

LONDON — Nintendo's "Wii Sports" took the lion's share of the kudos at BAFTA's Video Games Awards on Tuesday.

The sports simulation vidgame came away with six awards, including gameplay, innovation and strategy.

The top vidgame prize went to first-person shooter "BioShock," which was developed by 2K Games.

Law enforcement thriller "Crackdown," developed by Realtime Worlds, took awards for best action and adventure game, and use of audio.

Greek mythology game "God of War 2," from SCE Santa Monica Studio, also grabbed two kudos: story and character, and technical achievement.

The artistic achievement prize went to Clover's action-adventure game "Okami."
