Trio set for 'Lower Learning'

Longoria, Biggs, Corddry to star in comedy

Eva Longoria, Jason Biggs and Rob Corddry will star in elementary school comedy "Lower Learning," produced by Starz Media and Ambush Entertainment.

Ed Helms, Kyle Gass and Monica Potter also star.

"Learning" will be released theatrically early next year in targeted markets. Anchor Bay Entertainment will handle homevid.

Mark Lafferty's directing from his script, from a story by Shahin Chandrasoma. Production begins later this month.

Longoria will portray a school inspector assigned to look into shady allegations at a school, run by an unprincipled school principal.

Matt Leutwyler and Sim Sarna are producers along with Scott D. Greenberg, Karen Bailey and Kent Rice of Starz and Miranda Bailey of Ambush.
