Musicvid and commercials helmer Andy Morahan will direct “Goal 3,” the final installment in the series about soccer players from different backgrounds striving to achieve their sporting dreams at the 2006 World Cup, for Milkshakefilms.

Mike Jefferies will produce and write as he did on the previous two “Goal” pics.

Mexican thesp Kuno Becker also makes it a “Goal” hat trick, returning to topline as he did on previous installments.

Jefferies wrote the screenplay with Piers Ashworth. Matt Barrelle produced alongside Jefferies. Peter Heslop acts as co-producer and Peter Hargitay exec-produces.

Three-quel also stars Leo Gregory, JJ Feild and Kasia Smutniak. Supporting actors include Nick Moran, Anya Lahiri, Gary Lewis, Christopher Fairbank, Ori Pfeffer, Antonia Bernath, Gabrielle Richens, Tamer Hassan and Tereza Srbova.

Film will use action footage starring real life stars David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard shot at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Pic will shoot in Nottingham, England, and be released summer 2008.
