NBC orders O'Brien comedy pilot

Jay Lacopo is writing 'Man of Your Dreams'

NBC has given a cast-contingent pilot order to "Man of Your Dreams," a half-hour laffer from exec producer Conan O'Brien.

Jay Lacopo is writing the multicamera comedy, which revolves around a womanizer who uses his "skills" to help women desperately in need of dating advice. O'Brien's Conaco shingle is producing via Universal Media Studios.

O'Brien and Lacopo will serve as exec producers, along with Conaco's Jeff Ross and David Kissinger. Conaco has several other scripts in development this season under its UMS deal.

Most recently, Conaco produced the critically admired "Andy Barker, P.I."
