Pic, directed by Daniel B. Gold and Judith Helfand, unspooled at this year's Sundance Film Festival. It's slated for limited theatrical release on Nov. 9 and a DVD bow on Dec. 11.
Documentary follows a group of activists as they try to raise awareness about global warming.
Release is the first under the City Lights/Green Owl banner, consummating the distrib's merger with Green Owl Records/Prods., an eco-friendly record company. The film will be released in association with Red Envelope, the production arm of online DVD rental outfit Netflix.
When Abu Dhabi officials decided to launch their Middle East Intl. Film Festival last year, the focus was all about the finance.
