Story revolves around an FBI agent who teams up with a bunch of bloodsuckers to catch an arms trader with biochemical weapons. Alison Rosenzweig is producing along with Media Talent Group's Geyer Kosinski. Tracie Graham exec produces.
Once Kalogridis finishes her rewrite, the project will go back out to directors. Several helmers have been attached to the project over the past few years, including Jonathan Hensleigh and David Goyer.
New Line acquired the spec by Tom S. Parker and Jim Jennewein in 2001.
Kalogridis is writer-exec producer on NBC's "Bionic Woman." She has two projects in the works for James Cameron at Fox: "The Dive" and the adaptation of the "Battle Angel" graphic novel. She also penned "Alexander" and "Pathfinder" and has rewrite credits including "Wonder Woman" and "The Lone Ranger."
Rosenzweig ("Windtalkers") is also producing "Transit" and "Sanctuary."
