Springer comes from Rentrak Intl., where he was VP of operations. Previously, he was exec director of sales administration at Paramount.
At Overture, Springer will be responsible for box office research, reporting and analysis.
Prior to his hiring by Overture, Kevin Monroe was senior counsel in the business and legal affairs department at Disney. He worked as production attorney on all three of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.
Overture Films was launched last year to develop, produce, acquire and distribute films worldwide. It is an affiliate of Starz Entertainment.
