Saget set for 'Drowsy Chaperone'

Actor takes seat in narrator's chair

Bob Saget will sit down in the Broadway production of "The Drowsy Chaperone," taking over the tuner's central narrator role, Man in Chair, originated by Bob Martin and recently played by John Glover.

Saget, the host of NBC gameshow "1 vs. 100" and best known for TV gigs in "Full House" and "America's Funniest Home Videos," has acted Off Broadway, but "Drowsy" will be his Rialto debut.

Martin, who also co-wrote the musical's book, is currently toplining the touring production of "Drowsy," which recently opened in Toronto.

Saget's four-month stint in "Drowsy" begins Oct. 19.
