Luis Barone of "El tigre escondido" (The Hidden Tiger) is directing based on a screenplay by Miguel Machalski. "I always wanted to film in Spanish and never had the opportunity," Harring told Daily Variety during a break in the four-week shoot in Buenos Aires. "I saw 'El tigre escondido' and I was attracted to its realism and its humor. I saw this and wanted to film with Luis."
Argentine thesps Alejandro Awada and Mausi Martinez are co-starring along with local teen-telenovela idol Benjamin Rojas ("Erreway: 4 caminos").
Barone's Kaos Cooperativa is producing the $600,000 "Kluge" with multi-hyphenated Eduardo Montes Bradley who recently directed docu "The Great Simulator" and produced "Smooth Talker."
Barone expects Harring's involvement to open doors to the U.S. Hispanic market for sales and production opportunities.
