ARD also nabbed two other top prizes, including actress for Maria Furtwangler, star of the long-running crime drama "Tatort," and director for Lars Kraume, who chronicled a teacher's struggle with problem pupils and job burnout in "Guten Morgen, Herr Grothe."
ARD's epic miniseries "March of Millions," about the millions of German refugees displaced from lost Eastern provinces at the end of World War II, won three awards, including music, set design and supporting actor for Gabriela Maria Schmeide.
Matthias Koeberlin took actor for his starring role in ProSieben's disaster film "Tornado." The commercial web, which took four awards, also won entertainment format for "Beat Your Host" —- a hot seller in major global markets that was picked up Stateside by Warner Bros.-based shingle ParaMedia earlier this year — and sitcom for "Stromberg."
Berlin-based production company Teamworx was the evening's other big winner, with six prizes going to its productions, including "Rose," "March of Millions," "Tornado" and "Nicht alle waren Moerder."
Pubcaster ZDF followed ARD with five wins, including series for its cop show "KDD-Kriminaldauerdienst" and comedy for "Neues aus der Anstalt."
Commercial web Sat1 and RTL won two awards each while RTL-owned Vox managed one prize.
