'Wilkos' ratings are up
Program up by 10% over its lead-in average
After two weeks of syndicated, metered-market Nielsens, NBC Universal's "The Steve Wilkos Show" is averaging only a 1.1 household rating, but that's good enough to put the program up by 10% over its lead-in average. Wilkos is even with the year-ago time period average.
Warner Bros.' half-hour "TMZ" magazine, which uncovers the dirt on celebrities, is averaging a 1.7 rating after two weeks. But the show is down 19% from its lead-in and down 23% from the time-period average for September 2006.
Four other new strips are falling below a 1 rating: Program Partners' "Merv Griffin's Crosswords" (down 20% from lead-in and down 38% from year ago), Sony Pictures TV's "Judge David Young" (even with its lead-in but down 20% from year ago), Twentieth TV's "Temptation" gameshow (down 17% from lead-in and down 50% from year ago) and, with only one week under its belt, Radar Entertainment's "Jury Duty" (down 17% from both lead-in and year ago).
Among the reruns that started in syndication two weeks ago, Warner Bros.' "Two and a Half Men" is averaging a 2.2 rating, which puts it up by 10% over its lead-in, but off by 4% from year ago.
Twentieth TV's "Family Guy" is averaging a 1.9 rating, which is down by 5% in both lead-in and year ago.
Warner Bros.' "The George Lopez Show," at a 1.0 rating, is even with its lead-in but down by 9% from last year.
MGM's "Reno 911," at a 0.6 rating, is down by 14% from both lead-in and year ago.
After only one week, NBC Universal's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," averaging a 1.0 rating, is down by 9% from the lead-in but even with the year-ago time period.
