Barbara Mandel exits ICM

Agent leaves to form Artist Talent Management

ICM agent Barbara Mandel is parting ways with the tenpercentery to form Artist Talent Management. Mandel's roster, which includes James L. Brooks, will continue to be repped by ICM.

"Barbara has done a terrific job for our clients over the years, and we look forward to having a strong relationship with her in her new role," said ICM chairman and CEO Jeffrey Berg.

The move follows the high-profile exit of agent Ed Limato, who joined crosstown rival WMA last month.

Mandel began her career as an assistant at CAA. She also worked at Lorimar Films and Brillstein/Grey before joining ICM in 1998 as a motion picture lit agent.

"My years at ICM have been extremely rewarding, and I thank Jeff and my colleagues for being so supportive of my desire to form this new venture," Mandel said.
