Bocelli schedules small U.S. tour

Opera singer to visit eight cities in December

Andrea Bocelli will do an eight-city U.S. tour in December in support of his "The Best Of Andrea Bocelli - Vivere," which Sugar Music/Decca will release on Oct. 30.

Tony-winner Heather Headley will be Bocelli's special guest. The two sang a duet on "The Prayer" for Bocelli's live DVD, "Under The Desert Sky."

"Vivere" will include several new tracks, a few of which were penned by writer/producer David Foster. Guests on the disc include pianist Lang Lang and Latin singer Laura Pausini.

Bocelli will perform Dec. 1 in Las Vegas; Dec. 2 in San Jose, Calif.; Dec. 7 at New York's Madison Square Garden; Dec. 8 at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, N.J.; Dec. 11 and 12 in Hollywood, Fla.; Dec. 14 in Phoenix; and Dec. 15in Anaheim, Calif.
