Jose Bojorquez directed "Sea of Dreams," which stars Johnathon Schaech, Sendi Bar, Angelica Maria, Nicholas Gonzalez, Seymour Cassel and Sonia Braga.
Bojorquez and David Howard wrote the script, about a young woman who is shunned by the people in her Mexican village because they believe she is cursed by the sea and that any man who loves her will die. When a stranger comes to town and falls in love with her, everyone must question old beliefs.
Bojorquez and Nicolay Todorov produced; Pedro de Keratry and Robert Katz exec produced.
Success Films, Bojorquez and de Keratry's Mexican-run, L.A.-based shingle released the film in 2005 in Mexico. It was the closing film at last year's San Francisco Latin Film Festival.
