Broadbent told sci-fi website Dark Horizons that he’s been asked to join the cast of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” as Horace Slughorn, a retired potion's master lured back to the school in the sixth installment of the “Potter” franchise, due out in November 2008.
Other cast members confirmed for “Half-Blood Prince” include Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton.
“Order of the Phoenix” helmer David Yates returns to the directing chair for the sixth chapter in the “Potter” series, which is set to being filming later this year.
