TV Guide's after-party got off to a royal start as Hollywood's Les Deux was transformed into a miniature version of the Palace of Versailles. Guests America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, Ellen Pompeo, Debra Messing and Simon Cowell were greeted by a host of Marie Antoinettes gracefully swinging in individual gazebos, while a French artist drew guests' portraits and costumed champagne girls served bubbly and TV-tinis.

Though the doors opened at 8 p.m., things didn't heat up until John Legend took the stage two hours later. Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon cheered with the crowd, while Teri Hatcher and Terry O'Quinn held down stage-side booths. Kanye West stopped by for a four-song set and got the audience revved up for the debut of Band From TV, with a debonair Hugh Laurie keying the piano, a leather jacket- and jeans-clad James Denton playing guitar and Bonnie Somerville, Bob Guiney and Greg Grunberg crooning the night away in true rock-star style.
