Pic, helmed by Anders Morgenthaler, tells the story of a priest who takes revenge when his porn star sister dies of drug abuse. Norwegian “Sniffer,” from Bobby Peers, drew the nod for short. Pic won the 2006 short film Palme d’Or in Cannes.
The nominees are selected from the year’s top winners, known as Silver Melies, at 20 collaborating fantasy film fests.
