ABC, CBS face off for fall freebies

To help hype the season premiere of "Grey's Anatomy," ABC is mailing full-size hospital gowns to subscribers of TV Guide in L.A. and New York. They'll be polybagged with the Sept. 24 edition, which hits mailboxes this week.
Not to be outdone, CBS has arranged for select copies of the current issue of Entertainment Weekly to include what it calls "the world's smallest" mini USB flash drive. It contains video related to the Eye's new sked.
No word yet on whether Fox is planning to send out "K-Ville" gumbo in issues of Gourmet magazine.
