Also under the deal are "Married Life," which also is screening in Toronto, and Tribeca preem "Charlie Bartlett," produced by Jay Roach and starring Robert Downey Jr.
"We feel this teaming will help these films find an audience in Canada," said Kimmel Intl. prexy Mark Lindsay.
The Canadian releases will follow soon after the American dates, said Equinoxe distrib VP Marie-Claude Poulin. "Lars" opens in New York and L.A. on Oct. 12.
