Eros plans widest ever release

'Om Shanti Om' to go out on 2,000 screens

Indian entertainment giant Eros Intl. is set to give its widest ever release to "Om Shanti Om," an ensemble romancer set in the movie industry.

Pic will preem on over 2,000 screens worldwide on Nov. 9.

"We are looking forward to releasing 'Om Shanti Om' during the festive season of Diwali," Kishore Lulla, Eros topper, said.

Cast is headed by Khan and Deepika Padukone, but movie boasts a further 30 of Bollywood's hottest stars, including Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan.

"Om Shanti Om" is helmed by Farah Khan and produced by Red Chillies Ent., a production and visual effects label controlled by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Eros previously released other Red Chillies titles "Main Hoon Na" and "Paheli."
