Weetman most recently worked with Braun while at Yahoo, where he served as CFO of the Web giant's network division since February.
Before that, Weetman was CFO of Yahoo Media Group.
He joined Yahoo in 2006 after spending a four-year stint as head of finance and business development for DreamWorks Worldwide Home Entertainment.
Weetman also served as VP of finance for 20th Century Fox and as VP of planning and finance for EMI Music North America.
BermanBraun, founded in February, has a first-look TV deal with Universal Media Studios, the Peacock's studio arm for TV programming, as well as a first-look pact with Pepsi for online content.
