Lionsgate beefs up international unit

Studio hiring, promoting execs

As MIPCOM approaches, Lionsgate has expanded its international team, promoting three key execs and hiring several more.

Under the restructuring, the company has upped Amanda Cordner to vice president of international TV sales; Teri Fleming has been promoted to VP of international TV marketing; and Tori Crotts has been bumped up to manager of international TV.

Also, Lionsgate has added two international sales jobs: Tim Stuart has joined as VP of Asia Pacific, while Hana Zidek will serve as director of Central and Eastern European sales. And Max Lucas is now coordinator of international TV sales.

Craig Cegielski, senior VP of programming and sales at Lionsgate, announced the promotions and additions. Cegielski launched the international TV division in 2005.

Cordner previously served as manager of worldwide television sales administration, while Fleming was director of international TV marketing.

Lionsgate recently sealed volume deals with Australia's Nine Network and Sky New Zealand.
