'Homecoming' welcomes Eve Best

Actress to star as seductress in Pinter play

Eve Best has joined the cast of the Broadway revival of "The Homecoming," taking on the role of the central seductress in Harold Pinter's play about an estranged son's return to his family home.

Best, a regular presence on London stages, made her Rialto debut last season opposite Kevin Spacey in "A Moon for the Misbegotten," for which she was nommed for a Tony.

In "Homecoming," Best joins an ensemble that includes Ian McShane ("Deadwood"), Raul Esparza ("Company") and Michael McKean ("The Pajama Game"). Daniel Sullivan directs.

Production begins previews Nov. 23 at the Cort Theater, with an opening set for Dec. 9. Limited engagement is set for 20 weeks.
