Graham Chalfant, formerly a senior executive at Wachovia, has been tapped chief operating officer. Denise Johnson has been named manager of special projects and Tessa Atkins director of marketing. Also, Carrie Simons has been appointed VP of communications in conjunction with the launch of her own Triple 7 Public Relations, a division of 8:21 Entertainment.
Chalfant was previously a senior VP and national practice leader at Wachovia. In addition to his responsibilities as COO, he will serve as president of digital media subsidiary.
"821 is uniquely positioned in the rapidly evolving areas of filmed content, music and digital media and I'm both honored and excited about the opportunity," said Chalfant.
