CBS Paramount promotes Skrobalak
Exec to oversee casting for studio's shows

Skrobalak will have day-to-day oversight casting for a slew of the studio's skeins, including all three editions of the "CSI" franchise, "Girlfriends," "Jericho" and the upcoming "Cane" and "Swingtown." He'll report to Sheila Guthrie, CBS Par's senior VP of casting.
Skrobalak's "strong knowledge of the international talent market has been a particularly strong asset" to the studio, Guthrie said .
Before joining CBS Par, Skrobalak co-founded Skrobalak & Ross Casting, which specialized in indie films and TV. His resume includes casting work on "A Mighty Wind" and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
