Terrence Howard joins Rogue film

Actor will play a veteran street-fighting coach

Terrence Howard will join Channing Tatum ("Step Up") in Rogue's untitled street-fighting pic written and directed by Dito Montiel.

Howard will play a veteran street-fighting coach who mentors Tatum's character, a young man who had been scraping up a living scalping tickets in Gotham (Daily Variety, Aug. 3).

Kevin Misher is producing through this Misher Films shingle. Montiel wrote the latest draft of the screenplay, and shooting is skedded to begin in Gotham in September.

Howard has several pics on the way, including "The Brave One," "The Hunting Party" and "Iron Man."
