Harris to head Montreal fest jury

Harris produced the early Stanley Kubrick pics "The Killing," "Paths of Glory" and "Lolita" and went on to direct "The Bedford Incident," "Some Call It Loving," "Fast-Walking" and "Cop," also penning the last three titles. He exec produced last year's "The Black Dahlia."
The jury also includes Spanish multihyphenate Javier Angulo Barturen, Quebec thesp-director Denise Filiatrault, Argentina-born thesp Mia Maestro ("Timecode"), Korean thesp Kang Soo-Yeon ("Girls' Night Out") and Montreal graduate film student Nathalie Katinakis, who will represent the public on the jury.
The Montreal World Film Festival opens Thursday with the world preem of the Quebec-made comedy "Bluff" and runs until Sept. 3.
