The employees are repped by the Writers Guild of America East and Nabet. The Guild employees, who have been without a contract for over two years, were protesting the lack of progress in contract talks and the loss of 17 slots at ABC's operations in Washington, D.C., recently.
Nabet reps called for ABC to give them a "fair" contract when they return to the table next week.
The WGA agreement expired on Jan. 31, 2005, and covers 250 people. The two sides last met late last year.
