Warners to release 'Fratboy' film
Comedy about a man raised in a frat house
Comedy revolves around a man brought up in a frat house, raised by generations of house brothers. When he is reunited with his birth mother, he wreaks havoc on her chic home furnishings company with his rowdy, ill-behaved ways.
Karz ("Malibu's Most Wanted," "First Daughter") recently inked a two-year, first-look deal with Warner Bros. Josie Rosen and Josh Weinstock at Karz Entertainment will oversee "Fratboy."
Karz has several other projects in the works at the studio, including laffer "Blended," about families coping with remarriages. Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera are writing the script.
Karz is next in theaters with comedy "Good Luck Chuck," which he produced for Lionsgate. Pic opens Sept. 21.
Warner Independent's upcoming releases include environmental doc "The 11th Hour," produced and narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, which opens Friday. In September, the specialty unit bows Paul Haggis' "In the Valley of Elah."
