'Cymbeline' cast set

Plimpton nominated for Tony for 'Utopia'

Martha Plimpton, Michael Cerveris, Phylicia Rashad, John Cullum and Jonathan Cake are among the first thesps to be cast in Lincoln Center Theater's Broadway revival of "Cymbeline."

Plimpton, nommed for a Tony last season for her roles in the LCT production of "The Coast of Utopia," plays heroine Imogen in the action-packed Shakespeare romance.

Cerveris portrays Posthumus, Imogen's paramour who is deceived by a villain played by Brit thesp Cake ("Empire"). Cullum is set to play Imogen's father, the titular king whose scheming second wife (Rashad) also complicates Imogen's life.

Helmed by Mark Lamos ("Seascape," "The Rivals"), "Cymbeline" begins perfs Nov. 1 for a Dec. 2 opening at LCT's Rialto stage, the Vivian Beaumont.
