Script, penned by Jason Nutt, revolves around an average guy who falls in love with the perfect girl and is persuaded to become a male stripper by his soon-to-be father-in-law.
Partners Patrick Rizzotti and Brett Forbes will produce for Fortress, along with Mark Williams and Michael Pierce of Pierce/Williams Entertainment. Script was originally brought to co-producer Ben Weiss of Fortress.
Pontius is known for his Party Boy character in the "Jackass" TV series and films.
Fortress produced the Lionsgate pic "Pride" and is producing "Midnight Man" for Dimension.
Pontius is represented by Untitled Entertainment, and Nutt is repped by Zero Gravity Management.
