"Sex"-- which tells the story of a successful executive and ladies man whose life is turned around by an email that includes the names of everyone he's had, and ever will have, sex with -- marks the first pairing of Waters and star Winona Ryder since 1989's "Heathers." Simon Baker and Patton Oswalt also star; project is scheduled for release in 2008.
Pic is produced by Cary Brokaw, CEO of Avenue Pictures, along with Sandbar Pictures' Lizzie Friedman and Greg Little. Aaron Craig Geller is exec producer, with Jerry Jacobs serving as co-producer.
Next up from Anchor Bay is helmer/scribe Adam Green's horror offering "Hatchet." The company also recently picked up director Zak Penn's comedy "The Grand," starring Werner Herzog and Woody Harrelson, set around an international poker tournament.
Baker's credits include "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Guardian." Oswalt recently voiced "Ratatouille," and appeared in "Reno 911: Miami."
