RTL agrees NBC Universal deal

Pact includes 'Miami Vice,' 'Tokyo Drift'

BERLIN — NBC Universal Intl. Television has inked a wide-ranging content deal with Germany's RTL Television that includes feature films such as "Miami Vice" and "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift."

In addition to high-profile films such as "The Break-Up," "Nanny McPhee" and "You, Me and Dupree," the agreement also includes comedy-mystery skein "Psych."

RTL's head of sales and acquisitions, Dirk Schweitzer, described "Psych" as the ideal complement to "Monk," one of the web's most successful shows.

Further titles in the package include "8 Mile," "The Mummy Return," "Van Helsing" and "The Interpreter."
