Glosserman to direct 'Playing House'

Director set for Paramount Vantage horror film

Paramount Vantage has set Scott Glosserman to direct horror pic "Playing House."

Glosserman will pen the script with Macy Raymond based on their pitch.

ContraFilm's Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson are producing.

Story revolves around a young couple who are preyed upon when they occupy an empty island mansion.

Glosserman wrote and directed horror title "Behind the Mask: The Rise and Fall of Leslie Vernon." He's also set to write "Tal."

ContraFilm's credits include "The Number 23" and "The Guardian."

Vantage's upcoming release slate includes "Into the Wild," directed by Sean Penn and starring Emile Hirsh, and Noah Baumbach's "Margot at the Wedding," starring Nicole Kidman, Jack Black and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
